About Kiki Giet
Kiki Giet is a production designer. Kiki graduated from Art Center College of Design with a BA in painting/fine art but also studied film.
Just out of school she began set decorating under Tom Foden for Mark Romanek on such shows as, Nine Inch Nails “Closer”, Madonna “Bedtime Stories” and Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson “Scream” videos. Romanek offered her her first job production designing with G Love & Special Sauce “Cold Beverage”. She went on to do
REM “Strange Currencies” & Weezer “El Scorcho” with Mark and most recently Samsung “Bixby”commercials. She became known for large stylized and detailed design such as Marilyn Manson’s “Dope Show”, Will Smith’s “ Wild Wild West”, Celine Dion “My Heart Will Go On”, Lennie Kravitz “Fly Away” and more recently Miley Cyrus “Wrecking Ball” to name a few. She has worked on Hundreds of commercials for products ranging from Cadillac, Nissan & Audi to Nike, Jordan& Puma, to Target, Kmart,Pepsi,Coke and everything in between. She has worked with such diverse directors as Paul Hunter, David LaChapelle, Matthew Rolston, Bennett Miller,
Jonathan Glazer, Dewey Nicks, Forest Whitaker, Joe Carnahan,and Erich Joiner to name a few.
In her spare time she practices Rinzai Zen meditation with teacher Shodo Harada Roshi of Sojenji Japan.
